Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Firestone, aged 83 of R.D 2,Columbiana, died Thursday afternoon at 3:30 at Salem City Hospital where she had been admitted on Monday evening.
A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Lyon she was born on Aug. 8, 1875 in Madison township, Columbiana county.
On Oct. 28, 1897 she was married to William A. Firestone. He died in 1932.
She was a member of Rogers Methodist Church.
Four daughters survive, Mrs. Roy Vollnogle of Columbiana, Miss Hazel Firestone, Irvington N.J., Mrs. Harold Everett, Portland, Ohio, and Mrs. Gale Paxon, Salem. There are seven sons Richard of New Waterford, Walter and Clyde of Columbiana, David of Leetonia, Allen of Warren, Howard of Salem, and Guy of North Lima.
Twenty-three grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren also survive.
The Rev. Mark George, paster of Rogers Methodist church will conduct funeral services at 2:30 Saturday at the Warrick Funeral home in Columbiana.
Burial will take lace in Columbiana cemetery.
Friends will be recieved tonight at the funeral home...... 15, May 1959
