Greenville, Ky. - Amy Nell Griffin, 89, was born June 29, 1920, in Greenville, Ky. and entered into the arms of the Lord on Oct. 19, 2009, following a period of declining health.

She was the daughter of the late Frank and Hattie Travis. Amy's first husband, Stanley Chojnacki, passed away in March 1959. Amy married Timothy R. Griffin, Sr. in June 1960, he passed away in April 1990.


She was employed for a number of years in the Glass House of the Thermos Bottling Company. She was a member of the Leffingwell Baptist Church.


Visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Leffingwell Baptist Church, Route 82, Bozrah (corner of Noble Hill Rd.) with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Following the burial, a social hour will be held back at the church hosted by Leffingwell Baptist Church.


In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Leffingwell Baptist Church General Fund, 388 Salem Tpke., Bozrah, CT 06334 would be greatly appreciated.
