Dau. of Nicol McNichol and Agnes Douglas -both from Scotland. Her mother was married twice. 1st time to Nicol McNichol of Scotland who died in Fallbrook, PA in a mining accident. She returned to Scotland - had her 2nd child and then came back to the US and settled in Canton, PA and married her 2nd husband - Peter Boyd. Elizabeth took the name of her stepfather.

Survived by daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Barrow and Mrs. Alvin Porter; sisters, Mrs. Euphemia Hill, Mrs. Mary Robertson and Mrs. Nettie Segur; brother, Robert Boyd, all of Canton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The body is at the Morse Funeral Home, Canton, where friends are invited to call and where funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Russell Camp, Park Cemetery, Canton.
