Mrs. Hardt, 54, died Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pa. following a long illness. She was the former Jean Blizzard, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Blizzard of New Albany, Mississippi.
A graduate of New Albany High School, she attended Mississippi University for Women, Columbus, for three years, leaving in 1941 to accept a position with the Department of the Navy, Washington, D.C. She transferred during World War II to the Aviation Supply Office of the U.S. Navy in Philadelphia, Pa. where she served as secretary to the commander of that office. She and Mr. Hardt, a native of Haverford, Pa. married in 1946.
At the time of her death she was employed by the Wallace and Tiernan Co. of Wayne.
