William DeVan Blizzard, Sr., age 99, of London, OH, passed away November 10, 2014, at the Madison Senior Living Community in London, OH. Graveside services will be Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Anne Harris officiating. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Blizzard was born August 19, 1915, in Myrtle, MS, to the late Edgar and Emma Simmons Blizzard. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Coast Guard. Mr. Blizzard worked for many years as Sr. Vice President for Cummins Engine Company. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Parsons Blizzard.
He is survived by his son, William DeVan Blizzard, Jr. and his wife Molly of London, OH.
