Osie is buried right close to my great grandfather Nathan Haines, of the same name as me. Nathan's second wife was Rowena Berryhill. After Rowena died in IN, Nathan remarried to my great grandmother, Sarah Iiams. They later moved to Cloud Co., KS to be near Lewis Haines who was the only surviving child of Nathan and Rowena. Osie's father was John Berryhill who was Rowena's brother. Nathan Haines was John Berryhill's brother-in-law. John and his wife Charity and kids all lived near Nathan Haines and family in Cloud County for a number of years. Nathan was Osie's uncle and was buried right near him when she died so young. Actually it would be the other way around, Nathan was buried near her since Osie died in 1880 and Nathan in 1886.
According to Osie's mother's obituary, the Berryhill family left KS sometime in the late 1880's and moved to CO.
