Campobello - WALTER SCOTT FOWLER, 81, of Route 2, widower of IRENE BRIGHT FOWLER, died Tuesday in Spartanburg General Hospital. Native of Spartanburg County; son of the late JOHN and IDA ATKINS FOWLER; retired peach farmer; member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Surviving: son, WAYNE MARSHALL and JOHN FOWLER of Campobello; brothers, W. A. FOWLER of Greer, JOE FOWLER of Campobello; sister, MAMIE FOWLER of Landrum; six grandchildren. Services 10:30 Friday at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church by the Revs. BOBBY CROCKER, FRANK DYER; burial in the church cemetery. Pallbeareers: CARROLL, BILL, LARRY, and TONY FOWLER, BILL and BOBBY BRIGHT. Family is at the home of a son, WAYNE MARSHALL FOWLER, Route 2; to receive friends 7-8:30 tonight at Petty Funeral Home.
