Pruet Rites Held Friday Funeral services for Mary Pearl Pruet, 88, of Carnegie, were held last Friday at Pitcher Funeral home. Rev. E.T. Cooprider, pastor of the local United Methodist church, officiated. Burial was in the Carnegie cemetery.Mrs. Pruet died Wednesday, June 11, in the Carnegie hospital. She was born October 3, 1886 in Indian Territory. She came to Carnegie with her parents in 1904 and was married to Lawrence Pruet May 10, 1906. He died February 6, 1960. She was a member of the First Christian church.Survivors include two sons, Cecil Pruet, Carnegie and L.C. Pruet, Terrell, Tex.; two daughters Mrs. Helen Williams, Coupville, Wash., and Mrs. Irene Goff, Athens, Tex.; five brothers, Jack Kuykendall, Sunray, Tex., W.H. & Tom of Eustace, Tex., John of Carp, Calif., and Noah of Carnegie; one sister, Mrs. Nell Fallis, Bakersfield, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
