Mrs Joe Allison died at her home in this community after a long illness.
Besides her husband she is survived by the following: 3 children, Opal Julius, Otis and Thurman; her parents, Mr and Mrs Haywood Mitchell; 5 sisters, Mrs Riley Holman, Lancaster; Mrs T A Kilgore, Cookeville; Mrs Willie Ward, Leachville, Ark; Mrs Luther Ward, Cookeville; Mrs Shellia Austin, Sparta; one brother, Alfred Mitchell, Sparta.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon by Rev W B Gentry with burial in the Ray (sic) cemetery.
