Mira Smallwood Almarode 1956-2009
Mira Smallwood Almarode, of Tucson, died April 8, 2009 at the age of 52. She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Nov. 20, 1956.
Mira moved to Willcox in 1959 with her parents T.R. and Gladys Smallwood. She was a medical billing clerk in Tucson.
Survivors include her husband Dale M. Almarode of Tucson; and daughters Amy (Dan) Comer and Savannah Almarode, both of Tucson; along with her grandchildren Tyler, Meagan and Emma. Preceding her in death was her parents T.R. and Gladys, and her brother Robbie Smallwood.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at Westlawn Chapel. Private interment of her cremains will be in Sunset Cemetery. Contributions may be made to your Charity of Choice.
Services are under the direction of Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematorium of Willcox, Ariz."
