Naomi was born to Elmer David and Nellie Evie Witt Davis in Gainesville. Naomi was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ. She worked as a nursing aid at Denton State School for almost 12 years and at Gainesville Memorial Hospital for almost nine years. She was an avid gardener, cook and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Naomi married Raymond Griffith on July 23, 1937 and William Morrow on Dec. 25, 1984. She passed away at Pecan Tree Manor Nursing Home at the age of 86.
Naomi is survived by 2 daughters, 3 sons, a sister, 21 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 43 great-great grandchildren, and four great-great-great grandchildren.
Naomi was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Griffith and William Morrow; a daughter, Raima Dean Hooper; sister, Mami Ruth Reath; brothers, Bert Davis, Thomas Thayer Davis, Weldon Davis, Wayne Davis and Roy Dale Davis and grandchildren, Stephanie Dawn Blaylock, Matt Porter, Joy Dean Hooper and Orville Kelly Terry.
Naomi's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
