T.P. Wright, an old and much respected citizen of this place, died last Monday night at 10 o'clock after a brief illness.
Deceased was born in Manchester, Eng, December 30, 1815; was united in marriage in 1836 to Miss Ann Owram. The union was blessed with eight children, six of whom survive. He removed to this country in 1845. In 1857 he was wedded to Mrs Harriet N. Fobes at Berlin, the result being one child. Deceased was aged 72 years and 13 days. The funeral services occurred on Wednesday, the 15th inst. at the town hall, Rev. Mr. Crane of Norwalk officiating.
