"STELLA LOUISE BLANKS SERVICES SET TUESDAY

Funeral services for Stella Louise Blanks, 13, member of a pioneer Kerr County colored family, were to be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. from Mt. Olive Baptist church with the Rev. C.V. Everage officiating. Burial will be in the Tivy Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.
The girl died Sunday at the family home. She was a native of Houston, but had lived in Kerrville most of her life.
Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Blanks; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Lowe of Georgia, and a brother, Herbert Childs of Chicago."
