She was born in Maumee on February 15, 1918, to Leon and Palmyre (Cassaubon) Jacquet and was a 1936 graduate of Maumee High School.
Marguerite married Joseph A. Grove in Maumee on August 26, 1939, and he preceded her in death on March 20, 1980.
Marguerite worked for Loesch Motors in Maumee, Ohio as an office manager until 1953 when she became a stay at home mom.
She resumed her career in Automotive office management with The Ed Schmidt Group where she worked for over 30 years, in the years preceding her retirement, she was private secretary for Ed Schmidt.
She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg and an associate member of Peace Lutheran Church in Bowling Green.
She was a member of "The Sewing Club" from Maumee High School which has met for over 60 years.
She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and extended family.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeannine (Rick) Grimm of Bowling Green; grandsons, Jakob (Kristen) Grimm of Grand Rapids, Ohio and Nicholas (Wendy) Grimm of Hamilton, Ohio and sister-in-law, Martha Lahey of Perrysburg along with many dear nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Roger and Leon Jacquet and sister, Nellie Harvey.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009, at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg with Pastor Debbie Conklin of Peace Lutheran officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery.
