Here they cleared the farmland and engaged in dairy farming. "Aurella" died in 1842, then Albert married 2nd Polly Gould of South Owego, NY. The farm exists today much like it did over 100 years ago, and has been in the family continously since 1825-26. Margaret Brainard Pitcher resides on this Pennsylvania Century Farm as of 2013!
