Mrs. Lillie Rhodes Huffstetler
Mrs Lillie R Huffstetler 85, died at 2 a.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter. Mrs Taft Davis, Stanley Rt. 1 She was the daughter of the late Samuel David Rhodes and Sarah Ann Laughridge . She was preceeded in death by her husband David Cornelius Huffstetler.
She was survived by her children six Daughters, Mrs Taft {Nina} Davis, Mrs Oscar {Vivian] Liles, Mrs Frank {Jack}
Lowe, Mrs Lonnie {Atrice} Morris, all of Belmont, and Mrs John {Bernice}Taylor, of Charlotte, and Mrs Lawson {Hyacinth} Shuler of Bryson City, one son Beecher W Huffstetler of Belmont 20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev Jesse Ballew at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Centerview Baptist in North Belmont
The body will lie in state one hour at the church prior to services
Burial will be in Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends from 7p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at Carothers Funeral Home in Stanley
