WEST MONROE -- Mrs. Lurania T. Martin, 84, died Sunday in the Hodge Clinic after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Edmonds Funeral Home chapel in Jonesboro with the Rev. K. D. Mills and the Rev. Gerald Brantley officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery near Monroe.
Survivors include two sons, Milton O. Martin Sr. of Monticello, Miss., James W. Martin Jr. of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Childress of Columbia, Mrs. Minnie Smith of Archibald; two brothers, Henry Smith of Jonesboro, Awie Smith of Chatham; nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
