There is a gravestone at the Proctor family plot for her. How did she end up dying in Montana? She had a companion in Ohio in 1900 - (Edith Stiles 62 Companion). Could they have traveled there together? It seems odd, but the documentation states that she did indeed move to Montana in her last years. Why ? from RootsWeb: Interment Record for Abbie P. NORTHWAY Name: NORTHWAY, Abbie P. Born: 1834 Died or Buried: 1909 Buried: Brownwood County/State: Trumbull, OH Find-a-grave: She is listed in 2 separate cemeteries and has two gravestones, 2013. Memorial# 43074383 Old Highland Cemetery Great Falls, Montana.
Cemetery notes and/or description: (NOTE: There are two Highland Cemetaries in Great Falls, Montana, an Old Highland Cemetery in town and a "New" Highland Cemetery.) One possible explanation is that she died in Montana, was buried there however the family wanted her memorialized in Ohio where she was originally from.
