Cooper Review- Fri. Sept. 29, 1938-Final services for Mrs. Vida Blount,22, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at her home four miles west of Cooper with the Rev. L.L. Land officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery with Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Blount died in a local hospital following a short illness. Pallbearers were Paul Blankenship, Bill Sloan, Haskell McGinnis, Johnny Cass, Alvin Caddell, I.B. Land and Ed Alley, Jr. Mrs. Blount a native of Alabama, is survived by her husband and one son, Billy. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
