Mrs. Susan S. Whitaker
Mrs. Susan S. Whitaker, 75, widow of Henry Whitaker, died at the home, 52 Bay street, yesterday morning. She was for many years a resident of West Springfield. She leaves a daughter, Miss Jennie Whitaker, principal of the Worthington street school, a brother, George W. Turner of Becket, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary J. Hamilton and Mrs. Emily Cummings of Bloomfield, Ct. A private funeral will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon. The burial will be in Springfield Cemetery.
