Ransom A. Bell, Waynesboro
Waynesboro, GA., Oct 22 – Ransom A. Bell, who was burned about the back, head and hands in a fire which destroyed his barn Thursday morning, died from the effects of the burns this morning about 2 o'clock. Mr. Bell was about 58 years of age, a consistent member of the Baptist church and was tax collector of Burke County for a number of years and was a successful farmer. He was highly esteemed by all who knew him. Mr. Bell is survived by his widow, four children, one half-sister, one half-brother and two sisters.
The funeral occurred this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home. Dr. W. W. Anderson of the Baptist Church officiating.
