- Zelma Nancy Harrison, 85 former of Abilene, died Tuesday June 8, 2002 in Lewisville, TX
Services will be 10:00am Friday at University Church of Christ Chapel with Bob Harris officiating. Burial will be in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harrison was born February 24, 1917 in Leedey, OK, the daughter of William and Sarah Conaway Riddles. She graduated from Burkburnett High School in 1934. She worked with the National Brand Shoe Stores in Houston for 23 year before her retirement. She married Winston Harrison in Cordell, Ok, on April 11, 1954. She moved from Houston to Abilene in 1989, where she was a member of University Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by parents, her first husband Fay Farley in 1951, her second husband Winston Harrison in 2001, five brothers, and five sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne Farley of Flower Mound, TX; James Winston Harrison of Winston-Salem, NC; and Robert Ephraim Harrison of Braggs, OK; and a daughter, Lois Marie Perkins of Abilene; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
