Hettie Lois Riddles was born November 30, 1906 and died September 7, 1923. Age 16 years, 9 months and 7 days.
She was converted to the Christian faith and united with the Church of God July 18, 1920 and lived a faithful christian life and a consistent member of her choice until called to join the host above in the church triumphant.
Hettie was a non assuming character but made the wise choice of seeking first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and lived constantly with that as the one object of her life and when summoned to depart had the assurance that though she had been called to walk through the valley of the shadow of death He was with her and his Rod and His Staff comforted her. Those who seek
God in early life have the sweetest experiences and the most abundances.
Her remains were laid to rest in the New Herman Cemetery in the presence of a large congregation of sorrowing and sympathizing friends.
