94-Year-Old's Rites Monday
Mrs. Ada Garten, 94, died Saturday in her farm home six miles north of here. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Piedmont Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Yukon Cemetery under direction of Turners Funeral Home.
Mrs. Garten was born in Lincolnshire, England, and came to the US as a child, settling in Chicago. She moved to the farm near Yukon in 1900 and lived there since.
She was a charter member of the WSCS of the Piedmont Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, George, 1137 N. Klein; Lee, 4012 Springlake Dr., and Roy, Piedmont; and a daughter, Miss Blanche Garten, of the home.
