Burial will be at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Head Family Funeral Home of Levelland.
She died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001.
She was born March 17, 1924, in Forney and was a lifelong Texan. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star and Faith First Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Terry Gene Adams, Jesse W. Duke and Jesse W. Young, all of Lubbock, and Raymond Lee Jones of Houston; a stepson, Elliott Earl Young of Lubbock; a stepdaughter, Charlotte Ruth Cotton of Lubbock; four sisters, Charlie Mae Coleman and Bernice Hameed, both of Lubbock, Christine Brown of Phoenix, and Claudia Griffin of Amarillo; two brothers, Frank Charles Walker of Dallas and Donald Wayne Walker of Huntsville; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
