She was the daughter of Van Buren and Eunice Foster Mills being born Feb. 20, 1878 in Muscatine County and lived in the West Liberty area for many years.
Cora was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church and the Adah Rebekah Lodge. Her husband, George M. Conklin, preceded her in death in 1945 plus her parents and nine sisters and brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Violet Madsen, Des Moines and one brother, William Mills, of Muscatine.
Funeral services were on May 11 at the West Liberty United Methodist Church with Rev. Lawrence Carlton officiating. Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery under the direction of the Snider Funeral Home.
