W.W. Calpass, formerly proprietor of a newspaper route service in Tarentum, died at 5:30 this morning, February 6 1924, in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Dunkle, of Ravenna, Ohio.
Calpass' home was in Mantua, Ohio. He lived a number of years in Tarentum and was widely known and a popular figure among the older generation of this district. He was a veteran of the Civil War.
The body will be sent to Tarentum for burial, arriving here at 1:05 Friday afternoon.
Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.
