She became the wife of John Adams in 1855, and to them were born ten children, nine of whom survive. Mr. and Mrs. Adams celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1909. Mr. Adams died in 1912. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for many years, and so long as health permitted was active in its work.
The following children survive: John C. of Greensburg, Charles A. of Tarr, Harry H. of Duquense, Robert A. of Wilkinsburg, Edward T. of Tarentum, Fulton L. of New Kensington, Mrs. Ella Adams and Mrs. Violet Waltenbaugh of Tarentum, Mrs. Samuel C. Morgan of Mt. Washington,. There is one brother surviving, W.W. Calpass of Mantua, Ohio and a nephew C.C. Adams of New York City who is Vice President of the Postal Telegraph Company.
Funeral services will be held at her home Friday at 2:00 p.m.
Private burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.
