Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church of Loraine with the
Rev. Fred Witta, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial followed in the Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Born Nola Baird on March 19, 1895 in Hutto, Texas, she married Joe J. Bennett on Nov. 9, 1915 in
Loraine. She moved to Nolan County in 1900 and to Loraine in 1914. She was a housewife and a member
of the First United Methodist Church of Loraine.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Ira Williamson of Colorado City, and Mrs. Margaret Griffith of San Angelo; two sisters, Connie Brighton of San Antonio, Bessie Smith of Houston; three brothers, Lowell Baird and Vernon Baird, both of Big Spring, and Elmer Baird of San Antonio; three
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
