Mrs. W.H. Smith of this place, hands us the obituary, published below, of her son Charley who died from injuries received in an automobile accident near Alliance, Neb., first of last month. He was well known here having lived in Iberia the greater part of his life.
Charley E. Smith was born October 24, 1880; died September 14, 1918. He was married to Mollie Mayfield in 1901. To this union were born three children, a boy and two girls. He leaves a father and mother, two sisters, five brothers, a wife and two children to mourn his death. He died at Alliance, Neb., at St. Joseph hospital. Interment was made in the cemetery at Carterville, Mo.
