Mrs. Mary Connard Sanner, 38, of 852 North Union street, a Macon county school teacher, died at 11: 45 p.m. Saturday in Decatur and Macon county hospital.
A daughter of Walter H. and Ada Connard, she was born near Elwin May, 7, 1912. She was married to J. Herbert Sanner Nov. 12, 1933 in Decatur. Mr. Sanner preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1941.
Mrs. Sanner studied music at Millikin two years and taught in kindergarten and primary grades of Macon county schools for eight years. The last three years she taught in the Renshaw school near Green Switch.
A resident of Decatur 30 years, Mrs. Sanner belonged to the Grace Methodist church and the Starlight Rebekah lodge I.O.O.F.
Besides her parents, she leaves a son, Stephen; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Guest of Decatur and a brother, Ralph E. Connard of Decatur.
The body is in the Monson funeral home where friends may call. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with burial in Mount Gilead cemetery.
