The cemetery is located exactly inside the yellow box on this photo. Turn west off the main dirt road onto to dirt trail and the cemetery is directly on the south side of the dirt trail. Do not use the location pin on the findagrave.com map unless it is located in the exact same place as this yellow box.

The grave is about 10 miles south of Metter, Ga on Private property, just off Diamondback Road, next to lake. Major cleanup is needed and will look into this soon as SAR project.

Charles McCall was born in Pennsylvania, near the Virginia line.

On 21 February 1772 Charles McCall received a land grant for 450 acres on Lynche's Creek on the southwest side of the PeeDee River, SC.

On 24 Dec. 1784 Charles McCall received a land grant from Governor John Houston for 200 acres in Effingham Co, GA for his Revolutionary War service. Grant Book FFF, page 170. County formations for Bulloch Co, GA:

Bulloch Co, Ga was created 8 Feb. 1796 by an act of the Georgia Legislature, and was named for Archibald Bulloch, the first President of Georgia (title later changed to Governor). Note that Bulloch is spelled with an "h", not a "k". Bulloch was created from Screven and Bryan Counties. Screven Co. was created in 1793 from Effingham and Burke Counties. Bryan Co. was created 1793 from Effingham and Liberty Counties and contained some land which has once been in Chatham County. The area comprising Bulloch Co. had been known as St. Philip's Parish prior to 1777 when counties were created from parishes throughout Georgia. Public offices held: Charles McCall was one of the first justices of the Peace appointed by the Georgia Legislature for Bulloch County, GA when it was created in February 1796. He served as Judge of the Inferior Court for many years. He was State Senator in 1799, 1801 and 1802, and he was a Member of the Representatives from Bulloch Co in the State Legislature in 1798, 1803, 1805, 1806 1808. He was also a Delegate from Bulloch Co. to the Georgia State Convention in 1798 when the Georgia Constitution was drafted.
