A resident of Lewis county for 50 years, Maurice Hagen, 76, died Monday at his home on Green Mountain near Riffe. He was a farmer.
Mr. Hagen was born August 14, 1884, at Hartland, Minnesota. He had lived on Green Mountain since 1926. In addition to the widow, Minnie, at home, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Cora Stiltner of Yakima; four sons, George and Milan of Riffe; Milton of Centralia, and Floyd of Seattle; two brothers, Gordon and Leonard Olson both of Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Johnson also of Minnesota; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral serivces will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Brethren, Ajlune. Burial will follow at the Swofford cemetery.
