LEONARD BREWER LIFE-LONG
COUNTY RESIDENT DIES
Leonard G. Brewer, Lockman at Lock and Dam No.16, above Muscatine, died suddenly of a heart
ailment at 10:10 a.m. today while at work. He lived in Fairport all of his life. He was a member of the Methodist church, of the Masonic lodge of Muscatine and the National Federation of Federal Employees. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Leonard, Jr., and Leroy James and one daughter, Gerene Sandra, all at home; his father, Glen Brewer of Fairport; a half brother, Alva Lee Griffin of Sigourney Iowa, and three sisters, Mrs. Effie Rossie of Sparks, Nevada, and Miss Dicie Brewer of Glenwood and Mrs. Ellen McDonald of Marengo Iowa. His mother and one sister preceded him in death. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery in Muscatine Iowa. He was born 14 June 1908
