Jacob Donnell, County Pioneer, Buried Here Saturday Nov 26, 1932

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, November 26, for Jacob Donnell, 79, who died at 12:30 o'clock Saturday morning at his home in the Loco community.

Mr Donnell had lived in Collingsworth county for the past 23 years and was well known as one of the old timers who came here in the
early days before Collingsworth county was improved, He came to
this section from Clay county and although he did not file on his place, he did make all of the improvements and has lived there since.

Mr Donnel was born in McNairy county, Tennessee, on February 5, 1853, and at the time of his, death was 79 years, nine months and
21 days old. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Maggie V Donnell; one daughter Mrs Jess Hunsaker; one son, Charlie T Donnell; three brothers, Calvin Donnell, Vashita, Texas Sam Donnell, Lexington, Oklahoma; Lee Donnell, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Three grandchildren, Ernest L Hunsaker, Dallas, Clarence Hunsaker, Paducah, Viola Hunsaker, Wellington; one great grand daughter, Teresa Beth Hunsaker, Paducah, Mrs J M Puff, Wellington, is a sister of Mrs Donnell.

Services were conducted from the Donnell home in the Loco Community by Rev W H Riley and interment was made in the Wellington cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home.

Pall bearers were Joe Cummings, Ernest Halleman, Goodham Eldridge, Clint Cleveland, Delph Monaham, Sidney Elmore
