CUMBERLAND - Sandra Darlene Wentling, 65, of Cumberland, died on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, the result of an automobile accident on US 220 South.

Born May 25, 1942, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late William Vincent Allen and Viola Mae (Bishop) Allen. Mrs. Wentling was also preceded in death by a brother, Howard T. Allen; and a grandson, Justin W. Leydig.

A homemaker, Mrs. Wentling is survived by her husband of 49 years, Lawrence W. Wentling Sr.; her son, Lawrence W. Wentling Jr. and his wife Roxanne of LaVale; her daughters, Dianna J. Kulczycki and her husband Edward of Lanham and Iris M. Leydig of Hyndman, PA; her brother, Charles Allen of Oldtown; her sisters, Josephine McDonald and her husband Joe, Janet Magrogan and her husband Theodore, all of Beltsville, Arvalene Walters of Oldtown and Opal Dolly of Cumberland; and her grandchildren, Brendan, Joshua, Jessica, Corrie, Tyler, and Shania.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Sunday, July 15, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, July 16, 2007, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Bernadette Ross officiating.

Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Corriganville Volunteer Fire Co., Inc., 12501 Corrigan Drive, Corriganville, MD 21524.
