Albert C Roahrig, 64, resident of the West Lafayette Road died in City Hospital Saturday afternoon as a result of injuries received when he was run over by a state highway road grader he was operating. Mr. Roahrig fell under the grader, received a fractured left leg, lacerations and internal injuries that caused his death. Mr Roahrig was born in Muskingum County near Marquand Mills 22 Nov 1874, son of John and Matilda Roahrig. At the age of eight he moved with his parents to a farm near Plainfield. He was married 1 January 1903, to Floretta M Stiner who survives. He followed farming his entire life. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs Lora A Boughner of Rittman, Ohio; four sisters, Miss Sidna Roahrig of Plainfield; Mrs. Catherine Bradford of Coshocton; Mrs William Duling of Plainfield and Mr. Earl Trimble of Columbus; four brothers, William of Newcomerstown; Carson and Lester E, both of Plainfield and R.K. Roahrig of Cambridge. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Plainfield Grange. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, at the home, in charge of Rev A R Bishop and Olyn K Hull. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
