Cambridge--Raymond K. roahrig, 89, Guernsey Route 2, formerly of Cambridge, died Monday ion the Hill Top Nursing Home in Newcomerstown.

He was born Jan. 28, 1885, in Coshocton County, a son of John and Matilda Klein Roahrig. He was married to the former Alice Addy in 1909. She died in 1946.

Mr. Roahrig was a retired Guernsey County farmer. In early years he taught in the Guernsey County school system. Later he was employed as paymaster and bookkeeper for the Cambridge Sheet and Tim Mill Co.

He was a member of Masonic Lodg 224 in Plainfield and the First United Methodist Church in Cambridge. He also belonged to the Birds Run Grange and Pomona Grange.

Surviving are four sisters, Miss Sidna Roahrig, Newcomerstown Route 3, Mrs. Katie Bradford, Coshocton, Mrs. Alice Duling, Plainfield and Mrs. Anna Trimble, Columbus and several nieces and nephews. Two children and four brothers are deceased.

Services will be held at the First United Metodist Church, Cambridge, at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Roy Hilliard will officiate and burial will be in Northwood Cemetery at Cambridge.

Friends may call at the Corwin Funeral Home, Cambridge from 2to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
