Beverly E. Balis, 45, of Pioneer, Ohio, died Sept. 27, 2001 in Cambria Township. She was born July 1, 1956 in Lenaweee County to Paul and Lorraine (Bell) Balis. She was employed at the Gus Harrison Correctional Facility in Adrian. She was a graduate of Waldron High School. She is survived by a brother, Gerald (Pamela) Balis, of Waldron. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister Nancy. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Eagle Funeral Home in Waldron. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Waldron Church of Christ with the Rev. Russel Hodgman officiation. Interment will follow in Waldron Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Waldron Church of Christ of the Waldron Public Library.
