Services were held at the Hayti Church of Christ Monday afternoon for James E. McDonald, 76, who died at his home in Hayti on Saturday, May 15. The Rev. C.H. Welborn officiated and burial was in Maple Cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home service.
Mr. McDonald was born in Crockett County, Tenn. on August 19, 1888.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Virgie McDonald of the home; four sons, J.B. of Deering, T.J. of Bismark, Mo., James of Sikeston and Wendell McDonald of Braggadocio; and six daughters, Mrs. Roy Davis of Thousand Palms, Calif., Mrs. B.M. Read of Washington, D.C., Mrs. S.A. Pacifico of Staten Island, N.Y., Mrs. Jerry Waller of Steele, Mrs. Joseph Dawes of Leavenworth, Kans. and Mrs. Russ Pinger of Hollywood, Calif.
