The funeral for Hershel Howard Crosser was held Sunday, October 12, at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in this city with Rev. Guy Magee having charge of the service.
Mr. Crosser was the son of Mrs. Bell Crosser and the late Houston Crosser and was born at Ridgley, Tenn., December 9, 1909 and died in Phoenix, Ariz. on October 7, 1958 at the age of 48.
Mr. Crosser attended schools in Tennessee and was a member of the Baptist Church. He had been living in Phoenix for the past six years.
He is survived by his mother Mrs. Bell Crosser of near this city and one brother, Joe Crosser who lives near Caruthersville. He also leaves four sons and four daughters and seven sisters. One sister, Mrs. Birdie Yost lives in Union City, Tenn. and another, Mrs. Dallas Ash at Marston, Mo. Other relatives live at quite distant points.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home had charge of arrangements and burial was made in Maple Cemetery.
