Lida Mae Parker, 91, formerly of 72O-20th SE, died at 8:5O a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 1996, in Paris Nursing Home. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Miller officiating.
Miss Parker was born Sep. 13, 1905, in Soper, Choctaw County, Oklahoma, a daughter of W. O. and Beulah Griffin Parker. She was a graduate of Paris High School and Paris Junior College. She worked for many years as secretary to Col. Jim Caviness. She was a Methodist and a charter member of the Paris Business and Professional Women's Club and a member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a nephew, Gene Parker Lawrence of San Antonio; a great niece and a great-nephew.
