Noma Cox Bentley, age 75, died Sunday, March 14, 1993 at Dixie Regional Medical Center.

She was born November 25, 1917 in St. George to Warren and Mary Etta Lee Cox.

She married Richard Sullivan Bentley December 19, 1934 in St. George, Utah, Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple.

He preceded her in death in 1991.

Throughout her life, Noma lived in St. George, Utah, Denver, Colorado, Butte, Montana, Lewiston, Idaho, Greeley, Colorado, Richardson and Ft. Worth, Texas, Provo, Utah, and finally she returned to St. George in 1982.

Surviving family members include one daughter and four sons, Mrs. Ken (Darylene) Nickell, Pleasant Grove; Richard S. and wife Adele Bentley, St. George; William W. and wife Joan Bentley, West Jordan; Gordon Rene and wife Ellen Bentley, Las Vegas, Nev.; Jerre F. and wife Carole Bentley, Mesa, Ariz.; 24 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, V. Loraine Cox, St. George; and two sisters, Mrs. Athe (Marie) Meeks, West Valley; and Mrs. Walter (Irene) Brooks, currently serving a mission.

Preceded in death by one granddaughter, Geniel Nickell.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 19, 1993, at 11 a.m., in the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 300 West St. George, Blvd., where friends may call Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m. and again on Friday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services.

Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
