Funeral Services Joseph H. Boyd
Joseph Henry Boyd, 71, retired Brownsboro farmer, passed away in Galena Park, August 10. He had lived in Galena Park for the past two years, but was originally of Brownsboro.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Jess Boyd of Dumas, Texas, Levi Boyd of Sunray, Fred Boyd of Brownsboro, and J. D. Boyd of Galena Park; four daughters, Mrs. Jonny Holt, Springdale, Ark., Mrs. Thelma Carr, Houston, Mrs. Fay Maple, Silverton, and Mrs. Lila May Blasengame, Galena Park; 25 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Leagueville Baptist Church, with Rev. Homer Ritchie officiating. Interment was in Leagueville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Boyd Sumners, Wayne Sumners, Wilburn Boyd, Pete Featherston, B. W. Boyd, Joe B. Boyd.
Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
