PRENTISS, April 30-Horace Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Allen, of Silver Creek, who lost his life early Sunday morning when he was run over by a truck from the fender of which he was thrown while en route to get a car out or a ditch, was buried Monday afternoon at Silver Creek cemetery, after funeral services conducted by the Rev. A. B. Ferrell, assisted by the Rev. D. E. Vickers.
The young man was but 24 years of age and was unmarried.
Surviving are his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Allen, and. the following brothers and sisters, Hubert, Henry, Miss Bonnie, Albert, Dale, Gordon and Miss Annie Laurie Allen, all of Silver Creek and Robert Allen, Ranger, Tex.
The young man was a nephew of Billy Williams of Prentiss. Mr. Williams and family and others from Prentiss attended the funeral.
