Leo Dean Broadhead was born Thursday, November 22, 1928 in Heber City, Utah.

He married Bonnie Arlene Hawkins on October 27, 1947 in Salt Lake City. She preceded him in death on October 30, 1999.

Dean served in the Navy. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid bowler. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him.

Dean passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2001 at Murray Care Center in Murray, Utah. He resided at 944 East Hillview Drive (4060 South) in Millcreek Township, Utah at the time of his death.

He was survived by his children, Robert Dean (Julie), West Jordan; Sherry (Andy) Anderson, Salt Lake City; Connie (Terry) Mounteer, Kearns; Kenny (Shanna), West Jordan; Roxann (Gary) Pickering, Midvale; Eugenia (Gary) Lattimer, San Diego, California; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Faye of Ogden; Amber and Jean, both of Salt Lake City.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, January 5, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in the Murray City Cemetery, 5600 South Vine Street (730 East). A viewing was held on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary located at 4760 South State Street (100 East) in Murray, and Friday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary prior to the services.
