Robert Dean Broadhead passed away at his home in West Jordan on January 18, 2023 at the age of seventy-four.

Born in Murray to Bonnie and Leo Dean Broadhead on July 8, 1948, he attended local schools and graduated from Murray High. He then went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Army, serving three overseas tours of duty — including two tours in Vietnam.

He was self-employed for many years and also worked for eighteen years at Wal-Mart. He enjoyed bowling, travelling, and spending time with family.

He met his wife Julie Thompson while serving in the Army; they later married on February 14, 1994 in Bozeman, Montana.

He is survived by his wife; children, Anna Garbes (Paul), Arlene Broadhead, Andrea Aguilar (Luis), Robert Broadhead Jr. (Courtney), and Carlisle Thompson (Jamie); siblings, Sherry Anderson, Connie Mounteer (Terry), Kenneth Broadhead (Shanna), Roxann Black (Gary), and Eugenia Latimer (Gary); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family wishes to thank Applegate Home Health and Harmony Home Health.
