Obituary from the "Ottumwa Courier," November 4, 1963:

Mrs. Nora Corbett, 89, of the Good Samaritan Home, died Sunday at 4:10 p.m. at Ottumwa Hospital.

She was born Aug. 4, 1874, in Wayne County, the daughter of William and Almeda Hart, and had resided in the Ottumwa community since 1917. Her marriage to George Corbett took place Sept. 9, 1894, at Corydon. He died July 14, 1945. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Ross and Lloyd Corbett of Ottumwa, and Les Corbett of Corona, Del Mar, Calif.; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Two sons also preceded her in death.

The service will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at they Jay Funeral Home. The Rev. T.R. Crown pastor of the Free Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in University Park Cemetery at University Park.
