Jerry Ray Corbin, 44, died Oct. 28, 1995 at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis. Born July 26, 1951, he was the son of Dorothy Celeste Barnes Corbin and the late James Rothwell Corbin.
He was a graduate of Caruthersville High School with the Class of 1969. He attended Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Griardeau and Ole Miss University at Oxford, Miss. He was a chemical engineer at Huntco and a member of the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father and leaves the following surviving relatives and many friends: his mother, Dorothy Corbin of Caruthersville; one brother, Ridgeway W. Corbin of Orange Park, Fla.; one sister, Jo Lynn Carpenter of McKenzie, Tn.; one step-daughter, Kimberly Wagner; one stepson, Michael Meador; and a granddaughter, Ashlee Nichole Wagner.
Services were held Oct. 31, 1995 at 11 a.m. at the Dean Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Schriner officiating. Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery.
