John was the first burial in the cemetery.

Note: This person was misidentified as J.L. Hier on the 1939 cemetery survey and also in the BCGS list. Birthdate of April 17 was viewed in 1985, but mistaken for the death date. "J.L." still readable on top as well as the word "Hier". Death date has sunk beneath the ground.
